Vocational Education Scholarship (Graduating High School Senior)

The Support Education Foundation is proud to support students pursuing career-focused education through vocational training. Vocational schools provide specialized skills and hands-on experience that prepare individuals for high-demand professions in industries such as healthcare, technology, skilled trades and more.

Scholarship amount

A one-time $1,500 scholarship. Five scholarships are available in 2026.*

Scholarship purpose

The scholarship money can be used for tuition at a vocational school.

Eligibility

  • Graduating high school senior
  • Full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours)
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA

* A scholarship will be awarded to five (5) graduating high school seniors planning to attend a vocational school in Maryland. Applicants are only eligible to apply for one scholarship per year from the Support Education Foundation. Recipients are required to participate in follow-up surveys regarding their experience and may be requested to submit future testimonials. Educational Systems FCU employees, volunteers and their family members are not eligible to apply.
