Rewarding scholars

We are proud to provide scholarships to students who strive to learn and grow. Winners for 2026 will be announced on esfcu.org, and scholarship funds will be sent directly to the school the student will attend in the fall.

Dorothy Marvil Scholarship

The $2,500 Dorothy Marvil Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who plan on attending a four-year university, community college, technical college or trade school.

Business and Finance Scholarship

The $2,500 Rosemary Brinkley Business and Finance Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who have completed the Business and Finance curriculum at their school and plan on pursuing a career in business, finance or a related field.

Community College Scholarship

The $2,500 Community College Scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled at one of the community colleges we serve and who plan on returning for the following academic year.

Eva Chesley Scholarship

The $5,000 scholarship is awarded to a rising-college sophomore who currently attends a four-year college or university in the state of Maryland and is pursuing a degree in education.

Vocational Education Scholarship (Graduating High School Senior)

The $1,500 scholarship is awarded for students attending a vocational school and pursuing career-focused education through vocational training.

Vocational Education Scholarship (Second Year Students)

The $1,500 scholarship is awarded to students currently enrolled in the second year of an accredited vocational school or career apprenticeship program.

Support Education College Scholarship

The $2,500 scholarship is awarded to students with demonstrated financial need currently enrolled at a college in Maryland or Howard University and are returning for the following academic year.
